completed his Master degree in food technology at the University of Agriculture, Krakow in 2009. The topic of Master thesis was “Preparation and properties of cellulose chemically modified with cyclodextrins as a new material for food packaging”. He defended the doctoral thesis “Cyclodextrin-containing polyesters for tissue engineering applications” completed under the supervision of Prof. Dariusz Bogdał, D.Sc. and Prof. Szczepan Bednarz, Ph.D., Prof. PK. Since 2014, he has been working at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Department of Biotechnology and Physical Chemistry, Cracow University of Technology as an assistant professor. He has gained scientific experience participating in several research projects both as a manager and as a contractor (funded by NCN, NAWA and NCBR). From 2015 to 2019, he was the contractor of the project “Organic-inorganic functional nanomaterials for 2D and 3D printed optoelectronics” (No. LIDER/009/185/L-5/13/NCBR/2014) under the supervision of Prof. Katarzyna Matras-Postolek.
